Our 2015 Chardonnay expresses the characteristics of a cooler vintae. Aged sur lie for over 12 months, from take to bottle, we find a vibrant and fresh acidity.
In 2019 we released three vintages of Chardonnay, a 2014 Reserve with heavy oaking, a 2016 with mild oaking, and this 2015 aged sur lie with no exposure to oak. Appreciating the varying profiles of Chardonnay, the equally varying preferences of Chardonnay aficionados and, in an effort to showcase the diverse representation of a varietal that is truly a star of Ontario, we present to you a fresh and crisp expression of this varietal. For those looking to enjoy Chardonnay without the influence of oak, I invite you to experience this expression of a varietal that has found a truly great home, in the vineyards of Ontario.
Enjoy this on its own or as an accompaniment with salads, grilled fish, white meat or with fresh cheeses.
