Cancellation Policy for Quarterly Memberships

Quarterly Memberships automatically renew each quarter and continue until cancelled in accordance with the Membership Terms & Conditions. 

Members may cancel future quarterly shipments by directly contacting our Wine Club Manager at phoebe@vieni.ca.

Cancellation requests will take effect after the next scheduled quarterly shipment. Members are required to receive their upcoming shipment, after which all future shipments and rebilling may be cancelled. For example, if you send in your cancellation request in December, cancellation will only take effect after the February shipment. You will be billed for February. All future billings and shipments will be stopped after this. 

Annual Membership Cancellation Policy

Annual Memberships are prepaid and provide a 5% discount in exchange for a one-year commitment (four quarterly shipments).

Members may cancel and receive a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the first shipment has not been processed, allocated, or prepared for fulfillment.

After the 7-day grace period, or once the first shipment has been processed, allocated, or prepared for fulfillment (whichever comes first), the Annual Membership becomes non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. 

Annual Memberships do not automatically renew. Members will have the option to renew at the end of their one-year term.

Gift Memberships

Annual Memberships may be purchased as a gift for another eligible individual.

The gift recipient must meet the legal drinking age requirements in their province or territory of residence and agree to the Membership Terms & Conditions.

Gift Memberships are subject to the same terms and conditions as all Annual Memberships, including the 7-day cancellation policy. Once the 7-day cancellation period has expired, or the first shipment has been processed, allocated, or prepared for fulfillment (whichever comes first), Gift Memberships are non-refundable.

If a Gift Membership cannot be accepted by the intended recipient, the purchaser may request to transfer the membership to another eligible individual before the first shipment has been processed, allocated, or prepared for fulfillment, subject to winery approval.

Gift Memberships do not automatically renew.

Skipping Shipments

We understand that plans can change and are happy to offer some flexibility. Members may request to skip one quarterly shipment per calendar year by contacting our Wine Club Manager at phoebe@vieni.ca.

Skip requests must be submitted at least 15 days before the 9th of the scheduled shipping month. Requests received after this deadline cannot be guaranteed.

Additional skip requests may be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as a medical reason, at the discretion of Vieni Estates.

Billing and Payments

Members are billed every quarter on the 10th of the shipping month using the credit card provided at the time of enrollment. For example, for the November shipment, members will be billed on November 10th. Members will be billed on Vieni Estates' quarterly billing schedule for future Club releases. Members are responsible for ensuring their payment information remains current.

If a payment cannot be processed, the Club package will be held for up to 14 days while payment is resolved. If payment is not received within this period, the membership may be suspended.

Shipping Schedule

Wine Club shipments are released quarterly on our regular Club schedule: August, November, February, and May.

Please note: As we launch the Wine Club in August 2026, the inaugural Club shipment will be sent in September 2026. Thereafter, all shipments will follow the regular quarterly schedule of August, November, February, and May.

Prior to each Club release, members will receive an email with their upcoming wine selection and any available bottle swap options. Requests for bottle swaps, shipping address updates, or other order changes must be submitted by the 9th of the shipping month. 

Members are billed every quarter on the 10th of the shipping month using the credit card provided at the time of enrollment.

Orders are prepared and dispatched after billing, during the second week of the shipping month. Members can generally expect to receive their package during the third and fourth week, depending on their location and courier delivery times.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. An adult of legal drinking age must be available to receive and sign for the delivery where required.

Shipping Fees

Complimentary shipping is included with all quarterly Wine Club shipments to addresses within Ontario.

Shipments to addresses outside of Ontario may be subject to an additional shipping fee. Any applicable charges will be communicated to members prior to processing their order.

Complimentary shipping applies only to scheduled quarterly Wine Club shipments and does not apply to separate online purchases. Members may request to combine an online order with their upcoming quarterly Club shipment by the 9th of the shipping month. Requests received after this date may not be accommodated.

At this time, we are unable to ship outside of Canada.

Other shipping related terms & conditions

Members are responsible for ensuring that their shipping information is up to date. Any shipping charges incurred due to un-delivered items (returns, reroute, etc.) will be at the members' expense.

Vieni Estates will not be responsible for delays in delivery if that delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond the organization's control.

Membership Benefits 

Complimentary Tastings at Vieni

Every month, wine club members and up to 3 guests are offered a complimentary wine flight tasting at Vieni. Members are recommended to book via phone in advance to redeem their tasting, especially during high peak spring/summer season. Tasting room contact: 905-563-6521. Tasting benefits cannot carry over to future months, if unredeemed.

Complimentary Tastings at partnered wineries

Every month, Vieni wine club members and up to 3 guests are offered a complimentary wine flight tasting at different wineries in the Niagara Benchlands via the Friends with Benefits program. They will receive the calendar detailing which wineries are the current partner for the month. Members must book with the respective winery via phone in advance to redeem their tasting, especially during high peak spring/summer season. Tasting benefits cannot carry over to future months, if unredeemed.

Pick Up – Quarterly Meet & Greet: an alternative to shipping

Every quarter, we offer members a glass on us with snacks at a meet and greet pick up session at our tasting room. When members opt to collect their quarterly shipment instead of shipping, we turn it into an experience. Enjoy complimentary drinks and curated snacks for you and up to 3 guests – on us.

It’s our way of saying thank you, and an invitation to connect in person: whether it’s just with your friends, or with the Vieni team or fellow members of our growing community.

Pick Up Terms

If for some reason, members cannot attend the pick up session, they must pick up their package within 1 month of the Pick Up Meet & Greet date. Our storage is limited and cannot hold packages longer than 1 month. Past this date, our staff will ship the package to the address provided by the member upon sign up. 

Member Discounts

The 10% members discount is offered to members both online and in-store, on wine and merchandise. Sales and promotional items are excluded in the offer and the discount cannot be combined with other discounts.

Member Pricing to Ticketed Vieni Events

As a club member, you are entitled to member pricing to our ticketed events, and booking our guesthouse.

Sharing of wine club benefits

Membership and membership benefits are non-transferable. Wine Club members will need to show up in person to redeem the complimentary monthly tasting and wine club members are the only ones with access to discounts and member pricing.

Wine Package Flexibility

Members may customise each quarterly wine shipment by exchanging up to three (3) bottles included in their curated selection.

Bottle substitutions may only be made from the designated selection of eligible wines and are subject to availability. Eligible substitutions are offered at no additional cost.
