Our Dry Riesling is only produced in select years. We take great care and pleasure in presenting this rarely explored expression of such a hearty varietal.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow, with greenish reflections, elegant, aromatic, fruity and floral with a pronounced note of dandelion and candy, light, dry, culminating in a fruity finish.
Vineyard Notes
A frozen vineyard in April and below seasonal temperatures in May, naturally gave rise to concerns for the growing season ahead. Nature made up for lost time in June with exceptional weather bringing full bloom in a matter of days. The summer was hot and relatively dry and the extended growing season gave the fruit the time it needed to mature. The late summer diurnal variation was key to developing the sugars. The grapes used for this Riesling were harvested from two blocks.
