Vineyard Notes
After a warm and dry March, winter reemerged in April, freezing over the earth and vines. May was warm and spring quickly yielded to extreme heat and recurring heatwaves from June through the end of August. While September and October were warm, increased precipitation hastened the harvest. Thankfully, the extreme heat throughout the summer months gave this vintage the nourishment for the crafting of excellent wines, across varietals.

Winemaker's Notes
The quality of acidic varieties produced in Ontario, is outstanding. The favorable reception we receive with each new vintage of our Pinot Grigio, speaks to this. This wine seems to capture the imagination, as a blank canvas for pairing, enjoying on it's own and bringing a smile to the receiver when gifted.
With the general expectation that a Pinot Grigio will be please all and offend none, I'm encouraged by the look of surprise when first tasting this wine with guests; I get the impression of surpassed expectations. I look forward to doing the same for all of you.
