This wine, crafted in the nouveau tradition is made from hand picked Gamay Noir grapes grown on the Vinemount Ridge located in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula. 

Tasting Notes

Purple-pink; overflowing floral notes; the palette is met with an abundance of fruity flavours; light bodied, very light tannins. Serve cold and consume within a year.

Vineyard Notes
The Gamay noir grapes used for the 2023 vintage were harvested from one distinct block, exclusively designated for the production of this annual tradition. 
Production Notes
Following the traditional method of crafting nouveau wines, our grapes are hand harvested and undergo ten days of carbonic maceration. This is followed by a short period of skin contact and fermentation.

We invite you to join in the tradition in welcoming the first wine from a vintage: nouveau.

Incidentally, the first wine we released at Vieni was our 2012 Novello Nouveau and we mark every new year, and new vintage, with the release of a nouveau in November.

We're struck by the simple joy this wine brings; light bodied, chilled, fresh. It is the quintessential everyday wine that is versatile and unassuming. To try this wine is to experience love at fist sip.
